It's Friday, which means it's time for another iFriday Roundup. As always, this week's edition is jam-packed full of iOS game news, freebies and unmissable sales!
You honestly didn't think iFanzine would let something as epic as Dead Space landing on iOS pass without celebrating somehow, did you? Of course you didn't. Courtesy of the kind folks at EA Games, we've got not one, not two, but three codes for the iPhone/iPod Touch version of this 5 star masterpiece to give away. I know, out of this world, right?
EA's Dead Space, not only one of the best looking and best made games yet to grace iOS but also the outright scariest, is likely to have you squirming anxiously, jumping like a jack rabbit and shrieking in terror, as developers IronMonkey Studios expertly meld psychological horror with grisly, high-octane action to absolutely nerve-shredding effect.
The seemingly never-ending deluge of big name games onto iOS continues with Battlefield Bad Company 2 from EA Mobile. But how does this rebooted and graphically enhanced iPhone iteration square up to impressive showing of fighting games already available for the format?.
Brandishing three different gameplay options - Career, Exhibition, and Challenges, the ability to totally customize your fighter, and a unique control scheme, EA Mobile's MMA delivers a remarkably fully featured fighting game on iPhone!
At some point or another, most every kid dreams of becoming a rock star, a heroic firefighter, or world famous sporting icon. Sadly, the reality is usually much more mundane and these childhood dreams are unfullfilled. Well, now thanks to The Sims 3: Ambitions, iPhone gamers can turn back the clock and have a crack at leading the (virtual) life they always desired.
EA have just unveiled their explosive summer lineup of games on their way to Apple's iDevices. Most had been previously announced, but there are a couple of surprises in there! Before you ask, no mention of that elusive iPhone version of Mirror's Edge though...
