Jason Pickering, the indie developer behind Microgue, is back with a follow-up to that highly acclaimed debut. It’s called Ms. Spell (out now, $0.99), and like its predecessor, it’s a great little gem of a roguelike.
Boasting simple but satisfyingly cerebral gameplay, tons of randomly generated levels to explore and charming NES-style pixel art graphics, Ms. Spell should appeal to fans of the roguelike genre and newcomers alike. The game only arrived on the App Store a few days ago but it’s already garnering some very positive buzz from critics, who are calling it “a fun roguelike adventure” (Pocket Gamer) and “a game…with a lot of heart” (GameZebo).
Jason has very kindly provided us with 5 copies of Ms. Spell to give away to our readers. And being in with a chance of winning one is simply a matter of doing the following:
