Monster Hunter Now Tier List (September 2023)

Trying to figure out how to kit out your hunter? You’re in luck. Our Monster Hunter Now tier list covers which weapons are the best, in our opinion, anyway.

Monster Hunter Now is the newest title from Niantic, and it encourages you to get out into the world. You walk around the world and pick fights with the monsters you find out there. There’s a combat system with weapons, dodge rolls, and special moves. Master the timing to get the best rank in each of the fights.

What Do Our Tiers Mean?

S Tier List

The best skills you can get. If you get hold of one of these, make sure you keep it. Overpowered and will give you a big edge over the average player.

A Tier List

Decent skills that’ll give you the edge over the average player. Worth keeping around, though S-Tier is a bit better.

B Tier List

Decent enough, basically your average, solid player experience. You’ll do fine, but you might consider swapping out if you get the chance.

C Tier List

A bit below average. Best try something else unless you have something super specific in mind. There may be some niche uses that redeem it a little.

D Tier List

Don’t even bother. These are useless. Look elsewhere
