Attack Hole Guide
To recap: the aim of Attack Hole is to save-up the ammunition that you’ve collected over a few mini-rounds, and then fire it at the monster during the boss fight. If you’ve collected enough ammo, you’ll take down the beast. If you fell short, the monster will squash you. Follow these simple yet helpful pointers in order to avoid this!
What To Upgrade
After you complete a round of collecting bullets in Attack Hole, you’ll notice that you’ll earn coins. These coins can be reinvested into your ammo swallowing abilities at the start of the next round. We recommend that you aim to bump up the three features, but prioritise Size Level. After that, go for Timer and Power Level.
Every Second Counts
In Attack Hole, you’ll have up to 30 seconds to absorb as much ammo as possible before the round is over. If you’re a skilled Attack Hole player, you’ll be able to get all the ammo available on the map before the time runs out.
It’s essential that you get all, if not most, of the ammo before the time runs out in order to increase your chance of success against the boss later on. To achieve this, we recommend that you stay focused on what you’re capable of devouring. Every second counts – so don’t try and skip ahead of the smaller bullets by trying to devour shotgun shells before you’re big enough for them! This will just waste time, something that you must avoid.
Recovery
If you fail to get enough bullets to take out the boss at the end of your wave, you’ll get squashed. But what next? Being a good Black Hole player means you know how to make a recovery from failure.
The reason you failed will be that your time ran out before you could collect enough bullets in previous rounds. We recommend that, at the start of the next bullet-collection round, instead of going for the Size Level upgrade, you bump up your Timer. This could give you the few extra seconds needed to acquire enough ammunition to take out the boss.
If you fail enough times, the game will cut you a break by offering you the magnet tool at the start of the next round. We highly recommend that you snatch one of these handy tools up whenever you can – they’ll bring the ammo to you, giving you a boost in your collection.
