Spiderweb Software has taken to Kickstarter in a bid to conjure up support for a remaster of its classic RPG Geneforge 1 – Mutagen.
The Kickstarter has already well surpassed its original goal of $30,000 and its first stretch goal, meaning that Spiderweb will introduce a new creation to the game and allow backers to help design it.
Geneforge Received Five Entries Between the Years 1999 and 2008
The next stretch goals include a new storyline, professional sound design and an Android tablet port. These activate at $75,000, $100,000, and $130,000 respectively.
If you haven’t heard of it, Geneforge is one of Spiderweb’s earliest creations, with five entries launching between 1999 and 2008. It featured a truly open world that allowed you to tackle its challenges in any way you chose.
You can back Geneforge right now by heading on over to the official Kickstarter page. If you want to check out more Spiderweb stuff, check out its latest game, Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror, on the App Store right now.
